Valentine's Day Series: Make Up Looks

Welcome to the second installment in the Valentine's Day series. Today's post is about two simple go to make up looks. These don't necessarily have to be done for Valentine's Day but could also be done on a day to day basis. One of the looks is a simple sweet romantic look and the second look is more of a smokey, sexy, sultry look. You can do both of these looks with products you already have which is what I have done. You will see that there aren't a lot of pinky or red colors in these looks but feel free to add them to your looks and make it your own. Enough with the rambling and let's get on to the first look.

Lets lay our base which will be the same for both of our looks:

We will be using the Naked palette by Urban Decay for both looks also, again you don't have to use this pallet you can use any colors similar or that are in the same one as the one I am going to mention.

First Look: Sweet Romantic

1. Apply eye shadow primer to help our look last all day.
2. With an eye shadow brush pick up Sin in the Naked Palette, this is a Champagne Shimmer with a pink undertone.
3. Sweep this color all over the eye lid and using a clean brush blend it into the crease.
4.(Optional) if you want use the color Naked and add it to the crease to blend
5. Take a black liner, I'm using Essence Eyeliner Pen (liquid) and line as close to your lash line.
6. (Optional) If you want a cat eye draw a like from the end of the bottom to the lash line up and connect it to where you ended your line then fill it in.
7. Take some of the color Naked on an angle brush and line half way through your bottom lashes.
8. Use a Lash Curler to curl your lashes
9. Taking Benefits They're real Tinted Lash Primer apply to both top and bottom lashes & let set for a couple of minutes.
10. Use your favorite Mascara I'm using Maybelline Volum' Experess Falsies Big Eye Mascara and coat your top and bottom lashes.

11. Using the Tarte Inner Rim Liner we are going to line the bottom rim to give us a more awake look.
12. Finally we are going to fill in our eyebrows. Using the It Cosmetics Brow Powder in Universal Taupe draw small hair like strokes. My brows are darker so I fill in the sparse areas but it's all up to comfort.

Second Look: Sultry Eyes

For this look you are going to REPEAT steps 1-3 and we are going to add to the eye look to deepen it up and follow the rest of the steps.

1. Apply eye shadow primer to help our look last all day.
2. With an eye shadow brush pick up Sin in the Naked Palette, this is a Champagne Shimmer with a pink undertone.
3. Sweep this color all over the eye lid and using a clean brush blend it into the crease.
4. Take the color Naked and blend it into the crease.
5. Use and Eye defining brush and pick up some of the color Buck and create the outer V.
6. Using that same brush pick up some more of Buck and Naked and blend both the crease and outer V together.
7. Deepening until you get the desired look.
8. (Optional) If you want to deepen it up, use a little bit of Darkhorse. This shade has shimmer and we don't want too glittery of an eye.
9. Take a black liner, I'm using Essence Eyeliner Pen (liquid) and line as close to your lash line.
10. (Optional) If you want a cat eye draw a like from the end of the bottom to the lash line up and connect it to where you ended your line then fill it in.
11. Take some of Naked on an angle brush and line half of your bottom lashes.
12. Use a Lash Curler to curl your lashes
13. Taking Benefits They're real Tinted Lash Primer apply to both top and bottom lashes & let set for a couple of minutes.
14. Use your favorite Mascara I'm using Maybelline Volum' Experess Falsies Big Eye Mascara and coat your top and bottom lashes.
15. Using the Tarte Inner Rim Liner we are going to line the bottom rim to give us a more awake look.
16. Finally we are going to fill in our eyebrows. Using the It Cosmetics Brow Powder in Universal Taupe draw small hair like strokes. My brows are darker so I fill in the sparse areas but it's all up to comfort.

Lips

As you can see I didn't write anything about lips, I feel like this look could go with any color lip since it is for Valentine's Day I think it would go perfect with any red or nude shade. Its up to you and want makes you comfortable.

I hope you guys enjoyed the second installment in my Valentine's Day Series.
Until Next Time
