Blogmas Day 6: Favorite Christmas Ornaments

Welcome to Blogmas Day 6, can you believe we are half way done?! Only 6 more days until Christmas Day and my final post of Blogmas 2017!

Every year for Christmas me and my family would pick out one Christmas ornament to represent us for that year, of course we always picked the things we liked. And because I have an obsession with both clearance and Christmas, at the end of the season I tend to pick up a couple just so I can put them on the tree the following year.

I know a lot of people decorate their tree the traditional way but we feel that this adds a personal touch so you aren't just looking at red and green decorative balls all holiday season long. It also makes those that visit your home want to stop and see what ornaments you actually have. So today I wanted to share with you a little more of the personal side of my Christmas tree.

Let's get started!

I'm not quite sure why but over the recent years I have become addicted to Gingerbread men and women, I know, crazy right? It's only during the holiday season but I love everything about them so naturally I would have a bunch of different kinds of gingerbread ornaments. This one here is one of the first ones I ever got and he is just he cutest thing.  A lot of the gingerbread ornaments are actually on my moms tree back home so I will have to sneak some away for next year (sorry mom)

This made me laugh a little bit more than it should have...

I also noticed that I have multiple stars on my tree, whether they be yarn stars with sparkles on them or wired stars, they are all so pretty and just add some different textures to look at so its not all one consistent look.

This past year I tried my hand at keeping succulents, and lets just say they didn't last very long and I know its hard to kill them seeing as they don't need much water/sunlight. I got this because it reminded me of this year and all the new and exciting things I decided to try.

I love this plaid reindeer, it cute yet festive. It also inspired my wrapping paper for this year and although it seems small, its actually pretty big.

I purchased this little guy earlier this year at none other than tjmaxx. He was only $2.99 and he reminded me a little bit of my little friend, Trevor, that I made at Petsmart.

I told my boyfriend about my family's tradition last year, and I of course made him pick out his own ornament. He is obsessed with Spider-man, its his favorite, so I wouldn't expect anything less.

This ornament is rather special because my grandma just gave it to me. She will get to spend Christmas with us this year and every time I look at this, I will think of her.

I picked this ornament up the other day at Micheal's because they already had all of their Christmas items on clearance, which made me a bit sad that the season is almost over but I have to be happy. I got this one for my little furry butt, Tucker. He is just like my child, so what else is there to say?

Frozen is one of my favorite Disney movies and Olaf of course is one of my favorite characters. I first saw Frozen when I was away at college and it just made me think of family. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to grab this little guy.

Last but not least is my Wicked ornament. I love musicals and I was in Choir back in high school, so this ornament does a really great job of reminding me of those times. Plus, this is one of my sister and I's favorite musicals.

Do you have any ornaments that have a special meaning to you? Share it in the comments below!!

Until Tomorrow,

XX Noshka
