Whether it be at work, school, family, etc. we have all been a part of secret Santa or white elephant. There are some times when we know our person so well that it is easy to find gifts for them and other times where we are stumped and honestly, that is the worst. So I wanted to take you guys on the journey of buying for my own Secret Santa...
Let's jump right in!
Every year at work we do Secret Santa. We don't have to participate if we don't want to, but most of us do just to get in the Christmas spirit. I am super excited about my secret Santa because I feel like I know that person rather well.
Once I knew who I got, I started to brainstorm on ideas that she would like. There are two things that she loves and we always talk about which is Pizza and Tacos, so I decided to start there.
I had seen a lot of different Taco Shirts on Etsy, but I wasn't able to order them because they wouldn't have come in in time. So I went to Target to start my search for her gifts. At target I spotted some fuzzy pizaa socks, and who doesn't like fuzzy socks, am I right? Don't they look so comfy?
While looking at the Funko Pops, which I am slightly obsessed with, I spotted a Wonder Woman one. I remember her talking about how Wonder Woman was her favorite so I also picked that up. Aren't these the cutest?
I wanted to get one more thing, something kind of funny but also something that she could use and wouldn't be embarrassed by. I ended up finding a 2 pack "In Pizza We Crust" make up bag/pencil pouch. I wan't sure about it at first but after asking a couple people they thought it would be perfect.
My favorite thing about secret Santa is wrapping it all up. So for this one I decided to tier the gifts from smallest to largest in the order that I wanted her to open them. I also decided to get an ornament with the first letter of her name because I thought it would make it more personal. I loved the way it turned out and I hope she did too.
This is how I'm feeling after exchanging gifts and finding out mine was the most personal!

ReplyDeleteThank you! Secret Santa's can be quite daunting but if you just take some time to think about it and make it personal it all works out in the end.
