1 Year Blogaversary!

One year ago today I decided to finally take a leap of faith and do something I had always dreamed of doing. I had no idea what I was doing and kept it relatively secret from everyone.I didn't want them to judge me or think I was just trying to be like everyone else. I wasn't sure how to or even where to start. I wanted to put out good content and something I was happy with. I did a couple of posts but even those go deleted before anyone saw them. I knew it would be hard and it would require a lot of dedication which I didn't really have in the beginning. There have been so many times I have been filled with self doubt and thought maybe I should just scrap my blog completely but what would I gain from just giving up.

I know I have been out of the posting game the last month and its because I've been dealing with a lot of different things. But I am grateful for this full year of being a blogger and although I haven't accomplished everything I have plans for this upcoming year.

I want to post more.
I want to be a better blogger.
I want to learn different techniques.
I want you guys to know me.

There are going to be days where I doubt myself again and think I can't do this but I will remember how much I have grown this past year.

I know this is a random post but I just wanted to thank all of you who have supported me or even read these post the last year.

THANK YOU!

until next time.

Paying it Forward for the Holidays

Hello Everyone,

The holiday season is now upon us and the hustle and bustle of gift giving is in full swing. Stores are filled with shoppers browsing the aisle looking for gifts, Christmas Party items, Decorations the whole shebang. I know I have been racking my brains looking for the best possible gifts for my family or at least the last two people on my list.  But gift giving isn't the only thing that is important this holiday season. Sure it is one of the many parts but being with family and being healthy is something to be grateful for, we should also be thinking in those less fortunate. Those who are struggling but still want to have a happy and joyful holiday just like US.

A couple of years ago we started the family tradition of donating toys to Toys for Tots.  This is an amazing organization. They partner with the Marine Corps and collect new unwrapped toys for children who are less fortunate. For the last couple of years my dad has given us each a $10 dollar budget to buy gifts to donate them. You might be thinking dang $10 dollars isn't enough but in reality it is, last year I was able to get 3 or 4 toys for that amount. The thought of giving these gifts away and knowing that these kids won't care about how much they cost, but that they got presents on Christmas is enough for me.

Toys for Tots, is just one organization that helps during the holiday season down below are a couple of other great organizations that do their best to help during this busy holiday season.

Along with your Local Food Bank and Local Organizations

Let's not forget that everyone should have a Happy Holiday! We have all been blessed and this is our time, our opportunity, to pay it forward and help those in need. It doesn't matter what time of year it is.
